LECTURE: THE MONTH OF PATIENCE

Assalamu Alaikum.

Yes, we need patience to last in Ramadan. People seem to think of patience only in terms of trials and calamities. This isn’t so.

The highest form of patience is patience upon doing good. The next level (lower than it) is patience in refraining from doing evil. The lowest level of patience is patience in times of calamity.

So, let’s ask ourselves: are we truly patient?
