RAMADAN 2010 PREP EVENTS IN DUBAI AND AJMAN
Assalamu Alaikum.
Been waiting for Ramadan Prep lectures (live ones I mean)? Well, so have I. Finally, everyone has woken up, alhamdulillah (with 6 days to go).
People keep complaining that “we have no lectures here (in the UAE) “.
Whatever.
We have lectures in Arabic, Urdu and English not to mention Chinese, Tagalog, Malayalam, etc. Sadly, Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman are really underrated by many when it comes to seeking Islamic knowledge. There’s so much going on. Sadly, most people are unaware of this.
So, what’s happening before Ramadan?
[Note: There’s probably more stuff going on than mentioned in this post. The really awful thing about us here in the Emirates is that when the time comes for us to share information, we’re as slow as the good old days when they used pigeons. It’s a total disgrace.]

We can all learn something from her, both with regards to knowledge and character. If you think I’m exaggerating, then attend one of her lectures and see for yourself.]
[Obviously, this lecture is for sisters only.]

Brother Arshad Khan sent us an email yesterday informing us of a new masjid in the area near Khalifah hospital in Ajman. It will be delivering English sermons, which is great news for me, alhamdulillah!
Assalamu Alaikum.
Jazakillahu kheira.
WordPress now has a “like” button….
I didn’t get any info about Markaz Al-Huda’s Ramadan prep program.I don’t know if they’ll have one this year.
The Dubai Ladies Club usually has talks by Sister Eman. She had her pre-Ramadan talk there last year.
What’s “Pearls of Wisdom”? Is that a centre?
Yes, I got the email as well. I think that this is the second masjid in Ajman with an English khutbah.
Copied the directions to the second masjid in Ajman with English Khutbahs:
New Masjid for English Khutbah
assalamu álaykum wa RahmatUllahe wa barakatoHu, brothers, sisters & friends,
mashaAllah, by the Grace of Allah, Subhano wa Taála, Awqaf Ajman, has dedicated one more masjid in Ajman for the English khutbah.
Khutab will commence from Al-Jumuah (Friday), August 6th, 2010, time of khutbah = time of azan for Ad-Dhuhr.
I invite & welcome all of you to join us for the khutab, and
Location:
Go straight in the direction of UAQ passing Ajman City Center on your right, you’ll reach the Ajman City Center Signal.
Continue straight from this signal to the next signal.
At this signal, you’ll see a 4-minar masjid Khalifa on your right. Take right at this signal.
You’ll approach the first U-turn, take the U-Turn (Khalifa Hospital should be in front of you at the U-Turn),
Once you’ve taken the U-turn, take the first right, along the boundary of the hospital.
Go straight, all the way to the end of the road, you’ll reach a T-junction.
Take right at the T-junction, you’ll see THE WHITE (NEW) MASJID about 150m on the right.
To help you even better, there will be clear directions/signs on the street (starting from the Khalifa masjid) till the New Masjid.
InshaAllah.
See you there.
ma-assalama
