The Dubai International Holy Quran Award is a yearly competition sponsored by the Government of Dubai in order to encourage people to memorise the Quran. Learn more about it here.
The Jumeirah Islamic Learning Centre has invited some of the contestants over for a discussion.
This is a great opportunity, especially for those brothers who are serious about memorising the Quran*.
[Silly question: Why isn’t EVERYBODY serious about memorising the Quran? Allah clearly states that that He has made it easy to remember, so why are the majority of Muslims not interested?
Question to you, the reader: Are you interested in memorising the Quran? If not, then WHY NOT?]

JILC is happy to invite you for an iftar this Saturday and live discussions with some contestants from the Dubai International Holy Quran Award. The contestants who come from diverse countries will share with us their experiences in memorising the Holy Quran.
