Website: Audio Islam

Assalamu Alaikum.

Do you know the great thing about audio lectures?

They’re great for people who have no time to read e.g. people who are always commuting or women who live in the kitchen.

Subhan Allah, we can attain so much benefit from them but unfortunately they are an underutilized resource.

For those who like to listen to audio lectures, here’s a nice, authentic (from what I can see) site that has loads of beneficial lectures (single and series) mostly in English (but also in Arabic, Urdu and Bengali):

http://www.audioislam.com/

It’s a good site with lots of varying topics and lecturers.

Ramadan Lecture Series for Sisters in Dubai

Assalamu Alaikum.

I just wanted to alert the sisters who may still be unaware that Sister Iman (I mentioned her in this post) is giving (free) talks throughout Ramadan. This is the schedule:

[Click on the image to enlarge its size.]

There are both morning and evening lectures.

The lectures sound fantastic, to be frank with you. (And knowing Sister Iman, they probably are fantastic. May Allah reward her greatly.)

For more information, please visit their website.

Please be sure to inform all the sisters that you know.

Jazakunallahu kheira.

Ramadan Forum 2010 Website

Assalamu Alaikum.

I mentioned the Ramadan forum in an earlier post.

It seems that they have Arabic lectures too. One of their speakers is Shaikh Muhammad Al-Arifi. He’s the author of “Enjoy Your Life”. You can download it from my other blog (it’s on the right hand side).

He narrated the funniest story that I have ever heard (a true story):

Classic.

Here’s the email I got about the website details:

______________________________________________________________

– Printer-friendly schedule (including dates, speakers, and titles of lectures)

… and much more!

You can also watch videos of last year’s Arabic lectures here.
